In most galleries it is considered very bad taste to touch anything. This piece was a rare case. As a matter of fact, the artwork was specifically told to mingle among the throng of viewers and make itself available - a small placard attached to its frame politely requesting their touch.
Some take this as an invitation to grope and probe at will, much to the shame and embarrassment of the piece. Still others swatted its bare ass with the flats of their hands or their gallery catalogs. All of this attention resulted in the jarring of the art’s bells, filling the rooms with jingling late into the night.

Yea, you remember the private gallery series, right? I know I do. I think way too much about it. Trying to come up with more pieces for it. I love the idea of humans as art and this turned out to be a grand opportunity to revisit it.
