Ciril, the cancer mage. A friendly folk healer who works largely in immigrant communities in Boston helping to stave off disease and urban decay. Who knew that viruses were sentient creatures? Or that you could use STDs as a spy network?

I didn’t want to draw arms or the rest of him. But I did want to draw his hand and rings.

Don’t ask why.

My current rpg character. I’m playing in a Star Wars game set between episodes 4 and 5. We’re Imperial agents assigned as moles within the Rebellion who turned. So we’re triple agents, still trying to play all the roles.

Indrid is a professional slicer who has latent force powers that enable him to be forgotten by those around him. He also can create complex illusions. He specialized in walking into facilities, hacking the data needed, and walking out; all without a need to actually lie, sneak or disguise himself.

Sadly, he was on a job that went sour. While invading an Imperial base, the rest of his team was captured. They forgot they had a fourth team member and Indrid added himself to the Imperial roster for the base.

Posing as an Imperial until the red alerts died down sounded like a solid plan until he was cornered by an inquisitor. In the short fight that followed, Indrid lost a leg and quickly turned sides.

He was happy to now find an opportunity to turn the tables on the Imperials.

Finally getting a new group together after the unfortunate death of my previous DnD crew last year.

Percy - The rakish antiquarian. The artifacts that he finds have taken their toll on his mind and left him a might bit obsessive. Still, he somehow drives the group forward to adventure.

Pretz - The oafish bard. He says he’s a bard, but he can’t carry a tune. He does carry a massive sword. That’s an instrument he plays well.

Arabella - The blood witch. Mistaken for an urchin and then a priest, Arabella is a witch of some kind. I’m sure she’ll prove her value.

Gregor - The dashing ranger. Driven by his own personal greed and a misplaced friendship in Percy, Gregor plies his knowledge of the wild to the groups misadventures.

Finished two more portraits. The characters’ back story evolved a bit more:

The few remaining nobles of Borgovia reside in impenetrable towers. While their cities and domains lie in ruins, they haunt the dreams of the living, conscripting them into service as sleepwalking militias to advance their own designs or entertain them in games of life and death. Accompanying these militias are the knightmares, magical constructs that the nobles can invest with their power and wills from afar.
