Kennedy was born to a well-to-do family back east. His parents, unable to cope with his attitude and cheek, took to keeping him as a dog from a very young age. Mister Tibs, his personal valet, has been forced to play the role of owner to the demanding prima donna in dog shows around the country. Kennedy is the youngest winner in Westminster Pup Show history, a feat he he would go on to repeat three more times.
The lower pic is a glossy that he’d sign for adoring fans. The assumption is that human dog shows, while not the social norm, do occur frequently.
Kennedy is a character I drew a couple of years ago. I only depicted his face, but it had SO much story to his appearance and expression that he stuck with me.
Originally I’d intended to show Mister Tibs reaching over and giving him a handy but the pose was proved too awkward. I might try again at a future date.
