Tutorial: Part 3
So we tried a couple poses again for the clown boy. Mostly they were just figure studies to try to determine a body type and pose that worked for what I wanted.
They were almost too casual and limp so I fiddled around a bit more and came up with one I liked: the top left one. It is kind of an amalgamate of the other bodies. In particular the cute tummy from the middle top and bottom. I dunno why, I prefer an average body to an ultra lean body (ie, the top right one). I got frustrated with his back and arm so those are on hold for the moment.
You can see at this point that I draw a lot of different things at once and then try to glue them together for the final product. The disembodied arms at the bottom will find their way into this, though I can already see that I’m going to have to do some adjusting with them. Also, the dom is going to need to change. He’s not looking in the right place and he’s not going to be assertive enough with his body posture once I place the boy in there.
But things are moving along nicely.
