I think I’ve exhausted this theme… :(

Last night is proof that the right pen matters :p I found my old pen and used it by accident - so everything came out wrong.
It is the pen of sorrows.

Its been a really long time since I’ve drawn pony play. Largely because there is so little I can do with it that hasn’t been done to death. Hoof shoes, trotting, pulling carts, riders, etc.
(I have a deep-seated need to feel like I’m drawing something original, even if it really isn’t :p)
My character for 13th Age. We’re playing in a fantasy version of Sengoku period Japan.
Massive rambling and incomplete character background follows.
And yea, I’m aware that all my characters look like villains…
I’ve been reading a book on Eadweard Muybridge and found a photography sequence he did on an amputee boy walking, climbing into and out of a seat. Its very unique documentation.
Its also put me in the mood to draw something amputee… (which is also a frequent request)
Instead of drawing porn like I’d intended, I ended up drawing characters for our Sengoku period roleplay game because aside from sarcasm and snark, this is all I really provide to the gaming experience.
Lord Hida (left) and his trusted(?) adviser No. They ended up looking like the Japanese equivalent of Theoden and Wormtongue, which is pretty much how we play them.
Two characters aren’t drawn yet and Lord Hida is missing a face because his player wanted to describe him in detail at the game table :p But fuck Japanese armor, seriously. SO many little details. And I still have to draw a helmet.
Not much question which one I play… I’ll post a solo pic of No and his expansive history later.
Goddammit. My new roommate, the Creeping Fig, smuggled gnats into the condo.
Any Shadowrunners in the house? Sounds like that’s our next game system (in addition to 13th Age).
I’m doing really poorly on coming up with character concepts because its such a narrow setting >_>
