Erf. Watched the “Crypto-Nazi” debate between Vidal and Buckley. Love has died :C
I set out to draw boys in lingerie again and end up watching debates between Gore Vidal and William Buckley… I have confused priorities.

Sketchies.
Doesn’t look like him, but bottom right is young Gore Vidal. :p

To be fair, it’s not that far afield. I mean, that was pretty much a hissy-fit/slap-fight anyway, right? Just stick ‘em both in garters (make Buckley’s plaid to preserve his ‘no-homo’ propriety, etc.) and draw each with a copy of the OED tucked somewhere on their person. :) Works for me anyway.
Oh god XD Some kind of anime idealized youthful version of each. Mutual masturbation with their vocabularies. “Vidal-san noticed me!”
The whole time I’m watching I am thinking “Buckley’s mouth sure would be fun to draw.” It is quite unique :p Now its overshadowed by the horror of him in plaid garters.
Vidal was so proud of his zingers. He’d have these little giddy smiles after delivering each witticism.

My general strategy to avoid DMing roleplay games is to make the few games I run so mentally scarring and emotionally taxing that nobody can stand more than a few sessions at a time.
Also gays.
Anti money, anti hate, anti things I fucked and ate
I was doing my seasonal reading of SantaLand Diaries by David Sedaris and saw a weird parallel with Halfway Human by Carolyn Ives Gilman which in turn made me ponder strange, kinky versions of the usual mall Santa and elves dynamic.
Probably won’t be updating on y-Gallery or Furafinity anymore. Too much effort to upload to those sites. :p
Tumblr has spoiled me.
We made a valiant attempt at playing Shadowrun. After weeks of character generation, grids, tables, character doodles, we finally played a single session. Then we all looked at each other and agreed to play something else.
Like trying to play pool with a jackhammer - might work for some, but not for us.
Alas poor Prinz. :p
